May: How was the managers' party on Saturday?
John: It wasn't too bad， but I felt a little uncomfortable.
May: Why is that?
John: I just started this management job 2 months ago. I didn't know many people.

John: I felt out of place the whole evening. May: Did you meet lots of people?

그들 앞에서 뭔가 어색한 느낌이 들었다.

John: 그렇게 나쁘진 않았는데 좀 불편하더라.
May: 왜?
John: 난 관리자가 된 지도 2달 밖에 안됐잖아. 사람들을 많이 모르겠더라고.
May: 아， 그래서 물 떠난 고기마냥 당혹스러웠구나?
John: 저녁 내내 내가 못 있을 데 있는 것 같더라고.
May: 사람들은 많이 만났어?
John: 응. 관련이 있을 만한 사람들을 좀 만나 뒀지.
May: 시작이 좋네. 틀림없이 곧 익숙해질 거야.
